AMIGO is non-profit organization created in 2017 (but with roots from 2012) by some companies and entities interested in a better odour management in the world. The Environmental International Association of Odour Managers (AMIGO for its acronym in Spanish) has a Spanish-speaking base but it is open to other non-Spanish speaking entities. The first meeting of the group took place during the conference hold in Bilbao, Spain in 2015.

In August 2017 the AMIGO was inscribed in the Spanish registry of associations of the Basque country.
